For those of you flying into either San Francisco or Oakland airports – BART (light rail) service is available from both into the city; although the service from SFO is slightly easier to access – it leaves right from the airport; from the Oakland Airport there is a short shuttle bus ride to the BART station.

TRAVEL PLANS:
Guys I’m still waiting on travel plans from a number of you. I don’t need actual flight details; but arrival and departure dates!!! = Specifically are you arriving in San Francisco on Friday May 15th or Saturday May 16th – as well as your planned departure date and weather or not you’ll be having anyone join you for the long weekend in San Francisco…A number of us are having wives or girlfriends come into town at the end of the ride. Our hotel in SF is the Lombard Motor Inn on the edge of the Marina District; and they are offering us a good rate @ $140.00 per night – so please check out their site above and let me know if you want to hang there for a few days at the end of the ride…I have a huge block of rooms booked
I must hear from you by March 15th on this, or I will work on the assumption that you are arriving on Sat. (16th) and leaving on Friday (22nd) – sorry to put this DEADLINE in place but the hotel is hammering me to release any rooms not needed.

Let me know what questions you might have…
Carter
