Today marks the 99 days out point; May 17th is just around the corner – I hope all are doing their homework.
San Diego’s newest fine culinary establishment is now open - Blind Lady Ale House – almost in stumble home distance from Kevin’s house – oh if he only drank. In recognition of, and the fact they have a mighty fine logo, I may propose that this be required day four riding attire. Or I may just eat all meals there between now and May 17th in an attempt to regain the power needed for our up-coming endeavor. Either way I encourage all SD based guys to visit…
Shared expense money is still owed by 7 or 8 of you - I’m not naming names; but you (Bob, Colin, John M, Rick, Scott P, Steve & Wayne and maybe Rich) know who you are!
Both of last years drivers have committed to returning – so once again we welcome Jim and Harold into the fold. Their flights have been booked and they look forward to watching us suffer like fools.
And lastly; for those of you not living in the immediate Bay Area – which is everyone except Tom, Gary and Greg – I’m in need of your travel plans. Basically I need to know if you’ll be arriving in SF on Friday the 15th or Saturday the 16th and when you plan on departing. I need to confirm with our hotel. Don’t forget to stay through at least Thursday evening – you don’t want to miss the post-ride ‘awards’ gathering.
