Yesterday marked our three week to go mark; and tomorrow we enter May – meaning the last days before the start are finally here.
Our total number is TWELVE; 11 riders and a driver; the route has been set, the rooms booked and the riders confirmed – so lets have some fun.
Here are just a few items of note:
Weather for the ride: It’s still just a little early for an accurate forecast, but as of this point the projected chances of precipitation are low – I will update as we get closer, best be prepared either way.
Sunrise & Sunset: Roughly 6:00am & 8:00pm; meaning 14 hours of daylight per day. Should be enough for even day 3.
Bikes: Remember if your bike is traveling to San Francisco in the van, it must be at my house by Wednesday evening, May 16th. The van leaves on Thursday the 17th, for arrival on Friday in The City. The van will also have room for baggage, so pack early and let us carry it for you… Curt & Wayne; if shipping your bikes to San Diego before hand – send directly to my house. Bob; no need for you to bring yours to San Diego, we’ll work out the details of the van stopping in OC on the way north on Thursday.
San Francisco: Here is what I have for arrival dates:
Friday, May 18th – Kevin, Wayne, Curt, Will and I
Saturday, May 19th – Colin, Brian, Dennis, John, Cody, Bob & Steve
