One Week

All,

Well we are just one week away from the first wave of arrivals into San Francisco, and 9 days until our roll our date - I hope everyone is as amped as I am (I'm so DONE with the planning portion) and looking forward to the pain and boasting.

Thought I'd bring everyone up to speed with the rumors on the street pertaining to the different groups:

New York - Recently sent a spy out to SoCal in an attempt to access our fitness levels - returned to base depressed by findings

Oregon - Quietly doing heaps of secret closet training; look for great things on days 4 & 5.

Texas - Good news and bad. The bad is we lost one of the group with a badly broken collar-bone, the good news is that another member actually sold a car to fund a new bike for this endeavor.

NoCal - The Assassins continue to recon the course - looking for those nuggets of knowledge to help Tom retain his yellow jersey!

Orange County - Someone left the stable door open, and the donkeys are loose everywhere; reportedly one even fell off yesterday.

San Diego (The real SoCal) - Resting all their hopes and dreams on LCDR Kevin Childre
